Our Principal
Suzanne Roberts is a Fellow and Examiner of the IDTA. She started dancing at the age of 6 years. In 1980, her teaching career commenced in Germany, before forming her current dance school based in Hoghton, near Preston.

My daughter has been dancing at Highfield since she was 4 years old and what started off as a half hour ballet lesson on a Saturday has turned into a decision to choose Dance as one of her A-level subjects. Suzanne has really nurtured Lucy's interest and passion in Dance and has been a very positive role model in her life for 12+ years now. This is a fun, local dance school and a great way for your child to make friends with others from their local community. It is a great way to develop confidence and learn perseverance, dedication and self-discipline. The girls work through the IDTA dance syllabus with regular exams to affirm their progress and put on a fantastic show at a local theatre every couple of years. Sending Lucy to Highfield was one of the best decisions we made.

My children (boy aged 4 and girl aged 5) have been attending for a while for ballet and tap. They love it - and they love the teacher, Miss Green (Roberts). She’s such an experienced teacher who insists upon the highest standards. Highly recommended. I used to attend here myself as a young child, right up to leaving for university - and even as an adult (40 years on) I’ve continued dancing with her. She’s wonderful; knowledgable and inspirational.
